Our Story
The Muslim Women’s Support Centre of WA was founded in 1987 by Sr Zalina Kennedy who had the vision of creating an organisation that would serve as a cornerstone for Muslim Women living in Perth.
Her vision has been carried forward by many women and the Muslim Women’s Support Centre continues to be run by volunteers to promote, support and empower WA Muslim Women and their families.
In 1992, MWSC was incorporated and is a registered Charity under the Australian Charities and Not for Profit Commission. The Muslim Women’s Support Centre seeks to serve Muslim women through authentic leadership based on our Islamic principles.
