The Diverse Women’s Leadership Program

Want to participate in a leadership program to increase your confidence, skills and experience?

The Diverse Women’s Leadership Program is designed to enhance the confidence, leadership capability and networks of an inclusive group of women in a caring and supportive environment.

About the Program

The Diverse Women’s Leadership Program is designed to enhance the confidence, leadership capability and networks of an inclusive group of women in a caring and supportive environment. Connect with inspiring values-driven leaders from diverse backgrounds, discuss local community issues and develop your career and leadership skills for the workplace.  All program dates for the fortnightly workshops, Saturday forums and residential weekend retreat are detailed in the brochure below.  Links to the application forms are also below.

The program matches you with a mentor to help you navigate your journey throughout the program. As a participant of the program, you will be guided to complete five leadership challenges to put your learning into practice. These challenges include:

  • Completing a self awareness journal
  • Creating or updating your personal resume
  • Presenting a speech
  • Attending a networking event
  • Committing to a volunteering activity

This program is FREE for participants thanks to the funding from the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet’s Office for Women.   To be eligible for a scholarship, participants MUST be able to commit to all sessions during the program as well as fortnightly mentoring sessions and time to complete program tasks.

This program is facilitated by Alicia Curtis, leadership facilitator and community change-maker alongside a team of coaches and mentors.

Next Program starts on 2 August 2022.
