Advocacy
Advocacy is central to MWSC’s mission. We amplify the voices of Muslim women and families, promote gender equality, address family and domestic violence and structural Islamophobia, and advocate for equitable access to services. By working alongside communities and key stakeholders, we drive meaningful change and empower women to lead with confidence and dignity.
Family and Domestic Violence
We are committed to addressing family and domestic violence through faith-informed, culturally sensitive support and community engagement. Although not a crisis service, we focus on awareness, prevention, and promoting safety and wellbeing through education, Islamic principles, and community-led initiatives.
Settlement Support
We support refugee women and families through culturally sensitive settlement services. By providing practical guidance and connecting individuals to essential services, community networks, and specialised support, we help women navigate life in Australia while preserving their faith, culture, and identity.
